Hooray! Another bulk sock order was delivered in time despite the setbacks of continuous rainfalls in the past months. This bulk order of a total 240,000 pairs of socks was made by an Italian customer. The order consists of kids’ socks, girls’ socks and kids’ tights and pantyhose.
Like all custom made sock orders, we started this order with sample approval. Due to many different patterns and designs of the order, it took about a month time to get all the sock samples approved by the customer. We then wasted no time in starting the mass production after the customer giving the green signal as all yarns and accessories were standby in the warehouse during the sock sample approval process.
The continuous rainfall recently has caused damage to some manufacturers in the “Sock City”-Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province. Those factories with poor water drainage system have seen their warehouse ponded with rain water and storage of raw material and products contaminated. Thanks to the good job of our management team and the workers who continued smooth production and avoided any potential damage.
