(1) Application
The topstitched seam is a technique that combines visible stitching with concealed seams. It is commonly used for sewing waistbands on pants or skirts.
(2) Key Steps
Align the right side of the waistband fabric with the right side of the pant or skirt piece, and stitch a 1cm seam along the edge.
Fold the waistband over, directing the seam allowance toward the waistband.
From the right side of the pant or skirt, stitch a 0.1cm topstitch close to the edge of the waistband.
